Let us start by saying, the FFIM Board of Directors hopes that all of you and your families are healthy and well. We know that 2020 has been a difficult year for many but we are in hopes that all of you are able to get on the water, catch some fish and take your minds of the stresses 2020 has laid at all of our doorsteps.
We are excited to welcome you to the new Fly Fishing in Maine website! Please peruse the pages and join in or start a new discussion of the new forum page.
As far as FFIM events go, the Fly Fishing Film Tour (aka F3T) at the Frontier Cafe and Cinema in Brunswick and CFR Day have both been postponed for now. We are in hopes of getting the Film Tour event back on the schedule before the year ends, so we will keep you posted.
Through education and conservation we aim to share our passion with others in the community and introduce newcomers old and young to our sport. Our conservation activities target preservation of our fisheries and their environment, in an effort to ensure quality fly fishing in Maine for generations to come.
It may be some of the hardest work you’ll ever do. Volunteering with FFIM takes many shapes, but every job makes a critical contribution to our mission of protecting Maine’s coldwater, saltwater and other fisheries. People interested in volunteering should contact us via email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those wishing to make a one-time donation can go to the Grass Roots Grants & More tab above. The process is simple and quick. We have no overhead and 100%, that's right 100%, of all donations go directly toward supporting FFIM projects. Please help support us as we strive to protect Maine’s unique fisheries for future generations.
