Forum Rules
The purpose of this forum is for everyone to be able to share
information and help one another with topics related to Fly Fishing In
Maine. Please respect the rules set forth below so that we may continue
to bring you this service.
Please read the following rules before posting on FlyFishingInMaine.com.
Posts/Users not adhering to these rules will be deleted, modified, edited,
etc. as the administration sees fit. Users who continually and/or
knowingly do not follow these rules will be banned.
1) Registration Required. Anyone is free to monitor and read the
FFIM forums. To be able to post a new topic, or reply to an existing
thread, you must be a registered
user. This is a free and
painless process that helps us maintain appropriate content, and requires
that no personal information be given.
2) No Personal Attacks. If you disagree with someone, debating the
facts is fine. Vendettas, slanderous comments, threats, and negative
attitudes will not be allowed.
3) Keep it clean. Please refrain from the use of blatently vulgar
language.
4) No Offensive/Harassing posts. Harassment or bashing based on
sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religious views, or simply
because their opinion differs from your own are not allowed within the
message forums.
5) No Campaigning. Posts campaigning for the support of specific
political candidates are not allowed. Discussion and debate about the
issues and their facts is fine, but please do not request support for specific
individuals, nor seek financial contributions for any issue or individuals
campaign without the express consent of FFIM.
Decisions made by the site administration regarding the upholding of these
rules are final and non-disputable.
